Onsite Drug Testing

If substance abuse testing is a condition of a clients supervision, that client is required to participate in a random urinalysis program administered by the U.S. Probation Office. The toll free number is as follows:

This process involves calling an automated reporting system at the U.S. Probation Office EACH AND EVERYDAY, INCLUDING WEEKENDS, between the hours of 1:00 p. m. and 11:50 p.m. to receive reporting instructions the following day. For example, on Saturday, you may call from 1:00 p.m. to 11:50 p. m. to receive reporting instructions for Sunday.

When reporting to provide a urine sample, clients will be required to:

  • Wash their hands before and after submitting a urine specimen;
  • Follow all testing procedures as instructed by the USPO lab technician and submit an observed urine specimen;
  • Provide at least 35ml of unadulterated urine for testing;
  • Have one form of photo identification (ID).
  • Any attempt to manipulate the testing procedures or the results of a urine specimen will result in adverse action.
  • Defendants/Offenders who are on Home Confinement must contact their supervising officer for authorization to report for testing.
  • If currently on prescription medication, bring verification.
